Registration is now open for the Annual Katie Conference, the gathering for LCMS Northern Illinois District pastors’ wives and widows in all seasons of life.
This year, The Katie will again be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 202 E. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60194-3517.
Registration and refreshments begin at 8:30 a.m., with scheduled activities and our speaker presentation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Lunch is included.
The registration fee is $25. (We believe every Katie who wants to attend should be able to do so. If the $25 fee is a financial burden for you, there are scholarship resources available. Contact sue.green@nidlcms.org for scholarship information. Donations toward those funds can be found at the registration link below.
Renee Gibbs is a speaker, teacher, and encourager. With advanced degrees in education and theology, Renee teaches numerous Bible studies and mentoring groups for Seminary wives and around the country at women’s retreats.
In “Juggling Life – Our Roles as Women in Christ: A Study in Ephesians,” Renee will explore the concept that life is full, and we are often stressed with all the roles we have: wife, mom, worker, daughter, Christian woman, and member of the body of Christ. However, when we focus our identity in Christ, we can better live out our many vocations.
