Church Worker Care Team

The Church Worker Care Team is a group of fellow church professionals that the LCMS Northern Illinois District has asked to be available to come alongside fellow District church workers during a challenging time in their lives to provide them with a listening ear and spiritual support.

The Care Team grew out of the work that of Wellness Committee in alignment with our mission and vision:

WELLNESS: Promoting and encouraging health and vitality in congregations, schools, ministries, professional workers and lay-leaders.

You are invited to view our Church Worker Care Team introduction video. It will explain a bit more about this service offered through the Northern Illinois District as well as introduce you to our Care Team members.

The Church Worker Care Team was formed to give our church workers  currently serving congregations, schools, and ministries, someone to whom they can speak who is a fellow church professional who can be that safe and spiritually caring colleague to provide support during a challenging time.

We know there are many things that challenge all of our church workers as they seek to serve the Lord and His people. We pray that our NID Church Worker Care Team will be a blessing and support to you in the midst of your challenges and may Christ uphold us all with His unfailing grace.
